It was a civilizational dream come alive!
From a civilizational perspective, it is as significant as Exodus, Edict of Milan by Constantine, Hizra of Prophet Muhammad and also as significant as fall of Prithvi Raj Chauhan at the hands of Ghauri. All these events turned out to be the turning points in the civilization.
For last thousands of years, temples have been destroyed and Mosque erected on top, this is the first time a mosque has been ravaged and a grand temple has been built on top.
People question why a temple is so important. Only those who cannot see today’s events in the perspective of thousands of years do so. All the significant events that have been cited above as civilization turning points have been religious events. That should give some clue. Religion signifies a sum total of common faith of a society and Ram temple in India is focal point of individual faith for entire sub-continent. This is why a temple standing tall built on a reclaimed land from invader is a civilizational turning point in Indian sub-continent.
